Charles B. Roper, Jr., age 78 of Rockwall, TX, passed away July 10, 2013. He was born August 8, 1934, in Birmingham, AL, to Charles Burnom Roper, Sr., & Hazel (Neely) Roper. Charles proudly served his country with pride with two tours of duty in Korea and two in Vietnam as a helicopter pilot in the United States Army. He retired with the rank of CW4.

Details Of Part 1:

We will stage at the Visitor's Center and hold a briefing.
Four Honor bikes will be selected and stage in lane C
awaiting the arrival of CW4 Charles Roper, family, and
friends. All other Patriot Guard Riders will proceed to
Shelter C and establish a flag line. At the conclusion of
the service, flags will be furled, riders debriefed and
dismissed.

- Iron horses if you can, cages are always welcome and
appreciated.
- Safety First: Please remember to
properly hydrate (including the night before) before any
outdoor activity and to dress appropriately. Do not hesitate
to take a break at any time if you feel you need to get in
the shade or get indoors and always ask for help at any
time. Also please do not forget your sun screen.

PRODUCTS, OR CELL PHONE USE IN THE FLAG LINE!

Cemeteries are hallowed ground. Please keep radios off and
engine noise to a minimum. Observe the 15 MPH speed limit.
Show our respect to ALL who are there, not just the one we
are honoring.
